As a part of a team of three Graphic designers who worked with Diablo Valley College's Distance Education team, I helped to develop a style guide for online course delivery.
Our task was to design a series of unique visual design elements that can be incorporated into online course at Diablo Valley College. These design elements include logos, buttons, icons, banners, and badges; homepage layout templates (for online and hybrid classes on DVC Canvas platform), and DVC Online Education Style Guide. DVC’s online education program is distinguished by its commitment to flexible, interactive, and high quality educational opportunities designed to give students balance between work, home, health, or childcare needs. Our group of visual/ graphic designers along with DVC Distance Education team, created a cohesive “look & feel” through its visual elements based on needs and requirements of the client. Our work is being actively adopted by DVC and used on DVC Canvas LMS, as well as on main DVC website and different documentations and materials.
